Kauri is directly involved in "ground-up new development" as well as renovation and conversion of existing properties into new use, or "re-development." The processes for both involve progressive steps that ensure zoning and site conditions which allow the property to be developed as envisioned.

Our Development Process:

Feasibility Period

  • Property is put under contract to purchase, with due diligence

  • Survey property

  • Acquire Phase 1 environmental report

  • Geo-tech soils report, if necessary

  • Acquire Phase 2 environmental report, if necessary

  • Preliminary planning with an architect


Entitlement:
  • Public meetings with a design review board, with public participation

  • Obtain a Master Use Permit (MUP)

  • Apply for a building permit
